Leading Welsh band Allan Yn Y Fan is proud to announce a set of three premiere appearances which include one on home ground in Wales whilst also adding a new country to the list of European dates undertaken by the band since they commenced international touring in 2003.

First up on Thursday 14th September is the band’s appearance for the renowned Abergavenny Food Festival, providing the musical element of their Community Feast in the famed surroundings of the Market Hall on Thursday 14th September. Allan Yn Y Fan will be providing both concert and twmpath sets enabling the audience post-supper to immediately lose a few of the calories added by eating the fabulous food provided by the Angel Bakery.(http://www.abergavennyfoodfestival.com/programme/community-feast/)

Secondly, the band has been delighted to accept the invitation of the House of Regions in the historic city of Krems, Austria to introduce their audience to the delights of Welsh music and song. Linda Simmonds of the band commented :- “Allan Yn Y Fan has delighted over the years in being trailblazers for the music of Wales, and now we are delighted that we can add Austria to the list of countries in Europe (Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Germany)to which we have brought our brand of Welsh traditional music and song. Next, and finally, the band high tail it back to the UK and head for the Labour Party Conference in Brighton where they will be the musical centre piece for the party’s Welsh night on Sunday 24th September. The band is looking forward to performing a number of tracks from their current album “NEWiD” which has received universal acclaim from critics both in the UK and overseas.
