KATE STRUDWICK

Flute, Recorders

Born in Wales, Kate was raised in England, but sensibly took the first opportunity to return as a student and has never looked back! After a ludicrous number of years working as a Roadie for Welsh National Opera, Kate ventured into the Valleys as Events Officer for Music at Garden Festival Wales. It was here that she met Geoff, Linda and Chris and eventually admitted to playing a bit herself.

After a spell working for the Arts Council of Wales, Kate joined Caerphilly County Borough Council as an Arts Development Officer and still lurks in the garret of Blackwood Miners Institute devising projects to change the world through the medium of community arts....so she is clearly deluded.

When she isn't frightening small children with her collection of tiny recorders she spends her free time collecting houserabbits (no, don't ask).
